More info

Milna is located next to Splitska vrata, maritime route taken by almost all the ships that sail from Split. In summer Milna is connected with Split by catamaran, and there is a bus connection to Supetar where ferries operate to&from Split. Sailing by catamaran takes 30 min and it doesn't take much longer to get to Hvar, as well. The ferry ride to Split takes about 50 min .. Milna is adorned by the beautiful bays ideal for summer swimming by boats. From Milna originated some of the famous people of Croatian sport and culture ... writer Tin Ujević - his mother was from Milna, painter Matko Mijic, Bishop Jerolim Blaz Bonačić, athletes such as Peruzovic, Poklepović ... but also the founder of our restaurant Darko Butorović ... along with many others.

Useful to know..

It is interesting to add that Splitska vrata still hide a small fort, the tower from the time of Napoleon, but unfortunately it is abandoned and visible only from the sea.

During summer Milna is connected by fast boat lines with Split, Milna, Hvar .. 15 minute walk along the waterfront promenade takes You to the centre. A post office and a small market are located in Milna.
